Cherish Stories Publishing provides a bespoke and very simple service, taking your manuscript from wherever it is now, to a finished and published book.
There is no magic 'Publish' button...unfortunately. But if just thinking about book sizes, formatting, margin widths, e-book compatibility, cover design, spine thickness, account set-up, keywords, categories and pricing is already exhausting, or, you just don't have the time, then for much, much less than any publishing house, you can publish your book with me.
So if you're time-conscious or something of a technophobe - and that's anyone over 30! - I offer a comprehensive and sedulous publishing service to get your book published on Amazon as well as multiple other online platforms and book stores.
Even if all you want is a nice, professional-looking book for yourself or to give to friends and family, then don't pay thousands to a corporation that has a 200+ person call center. Use a personal service, where I'll be only an email or a few rings away, to make quick edits and help you whenever you need.
I don't take any Royalties either. All you'll pay is whatever package you go for below. And I won't try to sell you anything afterwards either. Once your book's published, that's it, you're in full control - check your sales, change the price, read your reviews and more, with a simple log-in. Plus, print as many copies for yourself or to sell as you like, whenever you like.

How It Works
Chapter 1
Send Your Manuscript
Whatever program you are working in and in whichever format, just get it as finished as you possibly can, then all you need to do is send it over by email and I'll do the rest!
(And by the way, if you'd like some basic editing or proof reading, I'd be happy to help, or I can refer you to an expert.)
Chapter 2
Formatting Your Manuscript
I will format your book optimally for both e-book and paperback (and even hardback). As an e-book, your book will be able to be viewed on Kindles & Kobos, phones, laptops, iPads & touchpads and just about anything with a screen. As a paperback, it will be ready to go to the printers, with suitable margins and spine widths, font sizes, spacing and blank leafs.
(And if you don't know your preface from your prologue - I didn't either! - and you want to add these and similar front matter, i.e. contents, foreword or even an epigraph (that's the bit with the proverbial quote at the start), then we can.)
Chapter 3
Making Your Cover
You may have your own ideas for your cover, or an image that you'd like to use, so let me know or send an image over. Or, just leave the cover design completely to me and see what you think of it.
Both e-book and paperback covers are designed with templates to best display and/or print your book.
Chapter 4
Setting Up Your Account
You'll get your own publishing account too, so in the future, you can alter prices, change descriptions or even make edits to your book, without having to come back to me every time.
Plus you stay in charge of your account for as long as you have it, with a username and password. Remember, you'll also retain all the Royalties.
Chapter 5
Publishing Your Book
Finally, we'll add a blurb, some keywords, categories, decide your price and then that's it, we publish your book. It will get a quick once over, then it will be live, ready to buy, or print your own copies to have, gift or sell as you like!

Why Publish with Cherish Stories?
SAVE MONEY
The average cost of publishing can be thousands, and that's before author copies, re-edits and re-runs. Cherish Stories Publishing (as you'll see below) is offering publishing for a mere fraction of that. What's more, there's little difference between where you'll end up - publishers also publish to Amazon, and use Ingram to publish to other platforms - pretty much doing the same thing I do, they're just charging for the admin, the paperwork and the middle-people!
KEEP ALL ROYALTIES
You keep all of what you make in royalties from your book. There is no 10%, 20%, or even 50%, going to someone else, in perpetuity - you get all of it. Also, a lot of publishers will implement a threshhold too before you even get any payout, i.e. 'you need to make this much before we pay you'. So you could be waiting a long time for any return at all. When publishing through Cherish Stories, the first penny you make, you get!
NO CONTRACT & RETAIN THE RIGHTS TO YOUR BOOK
It would surprise you to hear how many published writers aren't sure if they still own their own book! Unfortunately, some authors will give up their book and not even realise it - giving a publishers exclusivity for 2, 3, or maybe more, years. Here, you can decide where you want it to go, for how long and if you'd like expanded distribution - and you won't be locked into anything.
RE-EDITS & CHANGES
Re-reading your book and you see something you don't like, something you missed... just ask me to change it. I offer one round of changes before the e-book goes live and another round of changes after you order an author copy. Try asking a publishing house to change something... a year later, you might still be waiting... and that'll be another few hundred for the changes, please... With me, we're talking days... not months...
KEEP FULL CONTROL OF YOUR ACCOUNT... AND YOUR BOOK
Once your book is published, that's it - it's your account and you can do what you like with it from there. Come back to me if you'd like some help but otherwise, it's in your hands now! Change the price, change the description, check your sales, change the cover - over to you.
NO RELENTLESS AFTER SALES
And that goes for after sales too. Unlike many publishers, I'm not going to call or email you after, selling promotional packages or a fresh re-publish - I've already done my part, so I won't ask you for anything else.
A PERSONAL SERVICE
You'll start with me, throughout the process you'll be working with me and you'll end up publishing with me. You'll never call up and have to talk to a different agent or email and someone else answers. It's a personal service and I'll know exactly what and where your project is. What's more, everything is flexible and everything is bespoke, there's no strict rules and no set pathway. So whatever stage your book is in, I can take it from there.
